AppleTV version needs a LOT of work

The latest update for Hulu on AppleTV is really bad. Hard to navigate, too clunky, difficult to find what I want to watch, too many clicks to find video. If you use Hulu as a catch up on shows that you might have watch via other methods, episode descriptions on certian screens do not include show date.

Why?

People never like change but this is beyond change. Apple TV app is like a beautiful puzzle of shows you do not want to watch. I have no idea what shows on my watchlist are new or even where the watchlist is. Worst of all. After a last episode, Auto-play just plays a recommended show that isnt even on your watchlist or sometime the first episode of a show you already watched. Why Hulu, why?

Trash

Ive never had the drive to review an app until now. Like so many other reviews here. This new Hulu update make it unusable. I can not easily view the latest episodes nor can I tell what Ive already watched. The endless scrolling is the very annoying. If its not fixed in a month well be canceling our subscription.

Does not load

Recently, shows have stopped loading and I receive the "Sorry.." error report. It does this repeatedly. Why am I paying $15 a month for this?

Worst update ever

I never write app reviews but the Apple TV update for Hulu is THE WORST. I had to click out of the show I was watching then search for it again to get to the landing page for that show to watch a clip. What a nightmare. If you tubes service is half as good when they launch with TV service, with a better app, Im dropping Hulu and Ive been a subscriber since 2010.

Crap all the way around.

Get it together. You have a couple of weeks before massive subscriber loss.

Unusable Interface on TV

Im not sure how you can go so wrong redesigning an interface. You know youve got a problem when you have to promote a video that teaches people how to use something that used to be intuitive. I cant see when a show I watch has new episodes to watch which is the main thing I use the interface for. I never though you could mess up an interface so bad it would make me cancel a service.

new appletv interface is a real step in the wrong direction

terrible user experience, i mean you cant even find shows that you do watch, the names take up the full screen, no longer can you just browse. if they do fix it, the previous version really needs something to filter out foreign language content, the new releases area was filled with just new episodes of telenovelas and anime

New interface makes it even harder to use

Ive been a paying member (ad-free) for quite some time, and free user for much longer. Hulu has seriously earned their low app ratings, from poor interface to buggy playback (audio cutting out and not coming back till you remove the app from memory and start over). This update? It takes the cake. 99% of my Hulu usage needs a simple queue that I control: let me watch new episodes in the order I want. That is it. Every major update in the past year or two has made that more difficult. But now? New episodes dont even show up, and its pushing first seasons on shows Im currently in season 3 or 4 of (just waiting for the new episodes to come out, except now the app doesnt even let me see that either). The queue...wait no, favourites... wait no, watchlist...wait no, my stuff?! Or is it the keep watching list? Hard to tell, because everything is messed up, and new episodes...its not usuable. On top of that, the remaining 1% of my Hulu usage involved browsing...which we cant do anymore because shows are only shown one at a time. Thats not browsing. Thats a massive waste of time. Roll back 2-3 years (back when there was a semi-usable queue), then fix the bugs youre pracitcally famous for: audio cutting out and not coming back till removing the app from memory and starting over. Please.

Awful UI -Apple TV

I cant believe that you would release this. Its hard to navigate to shows and Im having trouble knowing when there is a new episode. Yes, the UI is colorful... big deal, if I had the chance to go back to the previous UI, I would in a heart beat. Please always be aware of the users experience, not just the interface. This new update really makes me want to cancel my subscription.

Horrible redesign of the interface.

Had Hulu for about a year and a half now. Its been great. They did a redesign of the interface a couple weeks back and it is terrible. Hard to maneuver through, not intuitive at all. Bad enough to kick it to the curb, but there are a couple of shows that my kids watch. If I find another place to get those shows- Hulu is out!

Better controls needed

It would be great to be able to fast forward by 10 or 30 seconds, not just back. Also, it should automatically play the next episode of a show you tap on, not the most recent episode.

Too much buffering!

Like the content but its frustrating to deal with all the buffering and freezes and deleting the app and reinstalling:(

New Apple TV app is horrible

If I could do no stars I would. That how I feel about the new set up. Cant find my shows. I cant tell when I have a new show. Its hard to navigate. Just a horrible update. I want the old one back.

The recent update is terrible. I cant find anything intuitively.

Terrible update on Apple TV

Thankfully, I have an older generation Apple TV as well as a new Apple TV. I see if there are new episodes of my shows on the old one, since the flags are gone. This UI is pretty but not useful. I will say that the playback and review features work a lot better, but thats only after youve finally found the show you were looking for.

Wow

The new interface on Apple TV couldnt be worse! That takes work, great job guys. Tip: making it fast and easy to scroll through shows is the key. Making it slow is the opposite. #fail Your shows are good the originals and I will continue to watch commercial free shows. Please fix this. Take a look at the Netflix app. Now copy it. ?

why you took something simple & made it hard is beyond me.

Update is terrible

New update is hard to navigate, not intuitive, and is making me reconsider my Subscription. Go back to the old interface
