Hulu’s recent update dubbed the “Hulu Experience” is enough to make you want to chuck your remote at the television. The design is clunky, unintuitive, poorly organized and overall, just plain confusing. I have been using Hulu for years and have never had a problem with their design - It is a shame that they have jumped on board with the other companies that would rather throw a flashy design at you rather than a quality product with substance. I will not be renewing my membership.

Get it together Hulu! Your app is terrible, crashes constantly and you blame it on a network error, funny that Netflix still works though. If an update isnt released very soon its bye bye Hulu and I know Im not alone in that thinking.

Hulu turned on auto play for all users without a way to disable it. This is a psychological programming trick designed to get people to spend more time watching videos they normally wouldnt want to. I pay for the service, and I will cancel it if auto play is not disabled soon. Stop being evil.

The most recent update for Apple TV makes this app near unusable. They took a perfectly good interface and made it impossible to choose shows or explore for new ones. A fix to this new update needs to be developed and sent ASAP.

HATE THE NEW LOOK! Hard to find my shows. Hard to navigate. UGLY! I hate this new interface!!! Change it back!

The new Apple TV redesign, which I assume is inevitably coming to this app, is a complete mess. Looking for an alternative ASAP.

I used to love Hulu but now with the new update on the AppleTV app is so convoluted. There are no quick previews, its hard to navigate, its difficult to see which shows you are currently watching that have new episodes. Overall the layout is not user friendly.

The new layout lost most of the shows I had on my list and the ones it didnt lose are all stuck showing that I need to watch the pilot episode. I have it linked to the TV app on AppleTV, so the shows show there, but only the ones that have new episodes are up top. You have to go way down the list for older shows that arent producing new episodes. It looks nice, but they could have applied the look to existing categories. Its broken enough that I would consider getting cable again for television.

Since the latest update Hulu across all platforms is garbage.

Hulu recently updated their Apple TV app to an unnavigable mess. It removed a great deal of simplicity and the ability to easily see what hasnt been viewed, whats new, and how many episodes are left in a given series. Its so bad that I have turned off automatic updates on my iPhone because in order to find out what I want to watch, I open my phone first, view the information there, and then search on the god-awful TV app for what it is that I want to see. Hulu needs to go back to the interface that it had before instead of whatever trendy bs nonsense theyve inflicted on the TV App.

I guess the new Hulu experience is meant to get people to cancel their subscription. Ill be canceling my subscription and go back to pirating shows if they dont fix this garbage.

The new update is the worst! Sorry but its a fail. I have to do too much scrolling to find things! Used to love the log on and bam everything is there! Easy to search, easy to watch. New update is garbage! Id give no stars if I could. Please fix! Please return to what it once was. This could cause us to cancel our subscription and go else where...

The new Apple TV app is trash. Gone is the simplicity that made tv watching easy, now it takes 10 minutes to attempt to find anything.

The revised format has pretty colors, and thats the best I can say about it. Very confusing, inconvenient format. Lost the ability to see many choices at a glance. Wrong show plays when making a selection. It looks like the developers went over the top adding what they think are cool features, but I find it extremely annoying. Keep things simple. That usually works well.

If you have a tv provider you can get about 90% of this content by downloading the tv shows app and logging into it. $14 for no commercials is to expensive and if you pay the $8 you get bombarded by commercials. Thanks for the free month, but Ill keep my money.

I thought the update was supposed to be user friendly. Now I cant figure out if there are new episodes to watch. Within my stuff there should be some sort of alert if there is a new episode to watch.

The idea of the app is great, but it loses connection constantly at the most inopportune times and you have to restart everything just to get the connection back to your TV. I have used Netflix for years and never had these kinds of issues. We have the highest speed Internet you can get; Its simply just poor design of the app and it is very frustrating. For a program that costs more than Netflix it is very disappointing.

Its okay but it needs no ads like Netflix, because Netflix has no ads and that is awesome about it.Fix Hulu, because Netflix is what everyone is talking about right now and not Hulu?

The new layout is terrible. Hard to navigate, too many different headings that all lead to the same unhelpful spots. Every show looks the same, so it is difficult to scroll through lists quickly to find what you are looking for. It honestly makes me not want to use the service anymore, its so unappealing and not at all intuitive.

The latest update introduced one of the most useless interfaces Ive ever seen. I usually open Hulu to watch the latest episode of a ongoing shows. It used to be incredibly easy to tell when new episodes were available, and see which ones I havent watched yet, now its next to impossible to figure out what Ive watched. Scrolling is slow, and the app completely ignores Apple TV design guidelines - the 3D focus effect was created for a reason, dont do something different just to be different, its difficult to tell where the focus is on the screen without it. It seems to not crash anymore like the old version did. So, thats one nice thing.
