Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies App Reviews

To many ads! And the subtitles are trash.. really would expect more from such a big company. And less Ads!

Ok so my hulu is pretty good because i had no trouble with setting and watching, meaning for me that theres no lagging or crashes. But on the other hand there a humongous problem.it does not show new shows, episodes, and seasons especially. So of that it wil only show 3 seasons of steven universe but theres acullay 5. So hulu creators if your reading this please, i beg you, update hulu. Every body else that owns hulu spread the word ok

Someone should he fired over this update. Please change it and put it back the way it was. Dont know how much longer I deal with it.

I am so thankful there arent a lot of shows I can only watch on the Hulu app. If my connection buffers at all (and it buffers a lot--using wifi or cell--and my other streaming apps dont so its not my service), it will rewind to some arbitrary spot, which considering I have to watch 4 commercials because it rewound and then I have to watch 4 more commercials to reset it to the spot I was at, is ridiculous. I accept that I have to watch commercials but this double viewing is not only frustrating, it makes me want to never buy whatever product Im shown just out of spite. Im seriously tempted to canceling my account. Viewing shouldnt be this frustrating.

Admit you messed up and roll back the TV app update.

Hulu is the worst of all the streaming services. You would think that with subscription fee and commercials revenues they could make a decent service. Its slow to load and commonly has to stop video to buffer. The new interface is confusing.

It looks pretty, but thats the end of it. Its impossible to scroll through shows, see whats there. Pretty much weve stopped using Hulu since the last Apple TV update. Its just too darn hard to use.

Will not load on Apple TV and will not open on iPad. I guess its broke until next update! Attempted to write and was given message that help is not available. Cannot sign out of managed subscription. What is wrong with HULU?

The new Apple TV UI is absolutely awful. Why would you change this? Why? I can still not figure out how to even find shows without searching for them. I have to be incredibly precise with the Apple TV remote to even click on a show. Throw out this new UI design, everyone hates it. Also you need to address the concerns of your users.

What a waste of time ! Whats the purpose of a shitload of old shows that arent available on Netflix if you cant even watch them ? It only shows clips , how lame ! Also the app crashes.. dont waste your time , just stick to Netflix

Hey Hulu, Usually your app for phone and TV works just great...except when a Metro POS commercial plays. Then everything stops working and the app crashes. Please fix it. Update 7/30/2017 Hulu, you still havent addressed the Metro POS problem. Id seriously recommend you look into it. Im not going to pay for a service that crashes at every commercial break. Update 7/31/2017 Hulu, now your Simple Mobile commercials are causing the app to freeze and crash. Fix it or I will cancel my subscription. Perhaps if your bottom line is impacted youll finally resolve these issues.

About once a day the app stops opening up, just the load screen forever. I have to redownload to watch shows. Really frustrating, please fix.

This is awful!! Never stops buffering! My wifi is amazing this should not be a problem!

Cmon, HULU! You went from being my favorite thing, to frustrating me to no end. Theres even a section called "Required Viewing". What?? Between the regularly frozen screens, pausing for a bit only to have It start completely over again on my shows, and this new update of horrors.... The thrill is gone. Whoever decided that highlighting ABOVE what you want is normal, is mistaken. I hope theyre listening to these reviews and make tweaks in the very near future.

Crashes out of no where ... fix

My boyfriend has an Android, and their interface is waaaaaay better. The interface for iPhone is no bueno!!

Tried to get the HBO and does not work. Tried to contact support but there is an error when I try to send messages about it. Tried to cancel through the app since I am not able to use it, and wont allow me. Never had such a hard time with any app trying to use a product, contact support, or just trying to cancel because the first 2 didnt work. A review is my last resort. Hopefully the app will allow me to cancel my account completely without giving an error message.
