Hulu: Watch TV shows & movies App Reviews

An addendum to my review: I am used to tapping the screen to see how much time is remaining in my episode. In hulu live tv, tapping the screen anywhere immediately rewinds you back to a totally different point in the episode. Why would you try and reinvent video scanning? iPad users expect scanning to work in a particular way. This is why following apples user interface guidelines is a good idea.

Its use full you can watch any show from anywhere at home

Can someone tell me why Hulu keeps demanding me to logon every so many days on the same device? Really, this is getting old, people have so many user names and passwords that it becomes a real "pain in the apps" for those that dont use finger print recognition, like Hulu. Netflix doesnt have finger print ID either, but then they dont make you login again and again. You really need to fix this before customers like me who have Netflix & Hulu drops the apps that make it difficult to use. Hulu doesnt seem to allow posting to support within the app either, even though they have a menu item that says" contact support." I typed this stupid text in twice, then rebooted and still got a message that said, "oops, something went wrong, please try again." I think what they really mean is "go away and die?" Speaking of "trying again," why is it when Im resuming a show on Hulu, it frequently plays a little bit from where I left off, goes blank, then starts from the very beginning... this is not the essence of "resume" folks; however, it does remind me of another word that starts with a "R" ... "RESET," Stop doing this! Netflix never does this and neither does cable TV, perhaps Hulu is trying to start a new fad? Heres the thing, this isnt new Hulu, my friends and I experienced" soft resets" all the time back in the 70s when dropping a hit of acid. Thats expected when youre doing drugs, but not when youre trying to watch a movie!

Please bring back the queue with its specific expiration dates. Keep the watchlist for those who want the algorithm to make suggestions, but return the queue for those who want to curate their own list. Hulu used to have the best queue function of all the streaming services; now it has the worst.

I use the app to cast shows onto my tv with ChromeCast. I also use the Netflix, HBO, and YouTube apps. This is the ONLY one that its almost impossible to watch a show on. I literally cant get through 4 minutes of a show without it stopping to buffer. I know its not a problem with my Wifi or ChromeCast because every other app works perfectly fine! I would love to use Hulu but Im about to cancel my subscription because its such terrible quality.

I watch naruto shapuden and it needs more dubbed episodes I have posted this multiple times and yet nothing is done I am going to keep lowering my stars for u till it hits one

Go back to the old interface! Takes way too long to find out shows! Also the apps do not sync. My phone app and Apple TV app dont communicate! About to cancel our subscription because weve all but stopped using Hulu on our TV!

Today I am leaving for a 17 hour car ride and I was looking for a show to binge. My step mom used to watch the hills with me and recently Ive been meaning to watch Laguna and the hills all the way through, and what a better time to do it than a car ride. I leave in about 2 hours and i typed in laguna beach. Nothing. The hills. Nothing. I search on google is laguna beach on hulu? I go to hulus website and it says currently unavailable. Same thing for the hills. Please get them back onnn????

My fave shows on here and this app works so yea.

Ive tried quite a few video apps and this is one of the few that works flawlessly for me. I pay a few extra bucks for the commercial free option and its well worth it, in my opinion.

Train wreck of a UX/UI. Nonsensical. Total and utter fail.

Not happy with the way the movies & shows are listed. All the lists have the same movies/shows not separate very confusing & pick a movie & its in Russian/Spanish/ or whatever How do you even know what I like or am interested in. Not interested in one single thing you listed.

Its been almost 5 months since an update. Id like to see a new redesign similar to the one on consoles

NOW ITS EXTREMELY GLITCHY

How the in world is Hulu going to turn off when a man died and they did something to remember. What if there family wanted to watch him and you just turned off. I would have sued for that and bet a lot what have testified against Hulu because you really dont work anyway and this is why people like Netflix more. Tell when I want back to Hulu they took very thing of my watch list. Like my daughter was watching stuff and know she cant find. Hulu yall cant like bunch of kids. This is one of the reasons why Im going to delete and Netflix is the best. This why yall dont have a lot of good rating. On Netflix you cant find everything that comes out but they put on stuff that you. That you like. Who dont that Hulu. Instead put all this stuff out bring your a game.

Something is wrong with the app. It wont let me log in. I deleted it and downloaded it again but nothing changed. At first I thought it was only my account but I tried logging into a friends and it still didnt work. I guess if this continues I wont keep this after the free trial. I even did what the help center said... change my password from the computer. It obviously didnt work. It will work on my computer though. Unfortunately dont watch tv on my computer.

Should have stopped when I saw the HUGE amount of negative reviews for your app. I signed up for the FREE TRIAL thinking, What have I got to lose? So I ignore the LARGE number of negative reviews and download your APP to my new iPad. Then I sign-in effortlessly, select my favorite video categories and choose my first show. Get the comment - HUDeejayError. Well, I think to myself, maybe I choose poorly. Then I choose another series and select an episode. Get the comment - HUDeejayError. This doesnt sit well with me so I go to Customer Support. I type in this big, longA problem and go to hit the SEND button. Get the message - Come Back Later. I wasted my time d/l your app, attempting to view different tv episodes, writing to Customer Support, and finally writing this review. Hopefully future customers will read this review BEFORE they invest all their time in a fruitless venture

Ive never really had a problem with Hulu I actually prefer it over other streaming services. I definitely recommend!

The old app was functional and worked fine! Why did you guys change it!?! The layout is horrible! Not good for browsing at all! I often have to find what I want to watch on my phone and stream it! Seriously considering canceling my subscription! The Apple TV app makes it so much harder to navigate..where did all my shows go???
