Hulu: Watch TV shows & movies App Reviews

The app froze multiple times. You couldnt even contact customer service. When I was able to contact I promptly deleted my account. Dont waste the money and dont download the app. Overall the show choices sucked and I had the top tier plan. Dont fall for it, spend youre money someplace else.

I hope people read these reviews. I signed up for the free live tv trial. I canceled but was still changed. I thought well maybe I can still try it when most sites let you until the trial officially ends, thats not happening. Close to 40.00 a month they charged me. I no I canceled, cause even on their site says I need to subscribe to watch but on my bank account it says "recurring" Now their so called help page is down and you cant contact anyone since they took down their email. Ive ever heard of a streaming company do that. You call but you should keep you speaker on while you wait for anyone to answer. Live tv???? Nothing. Networks have a habit of canceling shows so whats the point. Sorry Hulu. Going back to Netflix.

How the in world is Hulu going to turn off when a man died and they did something to remember. What if there family wanted to watch him and you just turned off. I would have sued for that and bet a lot what have testified against Hulu because you really dont work anyway and this is why people like Netflix more

The new interface is horrible. Ive started to use other apps to watch my shows as the interface is so bad. Cant even form complete sentences...so bad.

I must be permanently stuck on the 13.99 subscription. I have tried to change this through the app, on line, and through my subscriptions through the App Store. I continue to get charged 13.99 even though I selected the 7.99 price.

Very disappointed. Not only is the new layout completely not user friendly, now whenever I try to watch any tv episodes the app continually skips to the last 2 minutes of the episode and I have to rewind to watch the beginning.

Will not load on Apple TV and will not open on iPad. I guess its broke until next update!

This app is terrible. Im using it on my chrome cast and I have yet to get through a show because it keeps crashing. The interface is confusing and hard to use. This is terrible.

The updated version is horrible. I liked the old version better think I am going to have to cancel........

Are you serious? This update is horrid. I have to spend 10 min per show looking for new episodes. Scrolling "my stuff" one show per page?! What? Im cancelling. Its unusable.

Hulu was my go to all for streaming, I have now switched to Netflix. The new user interface is worse than ever, I cannot find shows, movie trailers, or any resemblance to the old Hulu I loved. So long old friend.

New app is trash!!!! Gives me problems all the time

This is a horrible app & crappy experience watching tv & business mostly owned by comcast. I like watching a show & story while staying immersed but crappy commercials rob me of the experience. Deleting this comcrapstic app.

Stupid. Why is there ads before my movies? Netflix doesnt have ads. I recommend Netflix to anyone unsure if they should get Netflix or Hulu

Ive been a loyal Hulu customer for years. Unfortunately, the amount of ads have significantly increased over the past month. Instead of 3 commercials being the average number during breaks, nowadays it is 6 (minimum). Called the customer service rep to ask about the sudden increase and was told (angrily) to order the commercial free service if unhappy with the current one. It will probably continue to increase...so...I cancelled my subscription. Too many great commercial free services out there for similar price.

The app is a trash! Every time I downloaded it, it collapsed after several days, then I have to delete it and download it again. Its terrible! The only app that collapse on my fantastic iPhone. Great.

I watch on my Roku which usually gives me no problems but I hate that you have to use the app for different settings and functions or sometimes the web site only. Why are all functions not available on one platform? Also dislike the HBO add-on. I thought it would make it more convenient and HBO would be within Hulu and then all paid at once. Instead it messed it all up because I had a previous account with HBO Now, so I would get charged through Hulu but HBO wouldnt recognize the subscription because my e-mail was linked to an old deactivated account. You still have to use a separate HBO app or tab, which makes the add-on pointless because I still have to login separately in a different screen and it doesnt cost any less than just going through HBO Now. Then when I go through the App to delete or add and add-on it wont allow me to do anything without upgrading to no commercials. And lastly, I find it extremely annoying that the options on their mobile site are very limited and when you click the help tab theres no customer support, just FAQ.

Excellent app. Helps me to find my shows easily and everything on the app is easy to understand
