Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies App Reviews

Thought Id give a trial a go. Couldnt get it to stream on my phone. Used live chat. Was disconnected 3x, had to start over 3x. They didnt know what their own error codes meant. Took a total "its you and your internet, not us" attitude. Funny- Netflix and Prime stream just fine. ?. Lost an hour of my life, with no positive result, that Ill never get back. Thanks, Hulu, for the reminder that I dont need yet another streaming service to waste time on. Im going to ride my bike now.

This new UI is terrible. Renders my subscription useless if I have to spend 10 minutes searching for my watchlist. Simplification cannot be overstated enough. Please get back to it.

Change it back or update the interface! Who ever created this new update clearly didnt have an Apple TV remote. ?

This interface makes absolutely no sense and makes me dread trying to watch Hulu. So I usually dont. Please fix! Its become not worth the subscription.

The content and service are great and work fine but the menu system is horrific. I hope no one got paid for that update. I feel confident that I could design something better. Hmu Hulu.

Needs to have all naruto shippuden dub episodes

Hard to use. Hard to find shows or networks. Not clear if the DVR is set or if I can even record a show. No list of upcoming recordings. The design may look good on a IPhone but awkward on a 60” TV. The look is pretty but not informative. The app is such a mess and finding shows so annoying that I end up not using it. And if Im not using why pay for it. This is not a cable box replacement. One good thing is the video quality. I am primarily using the Hulu app with the live TV and DVR on a Apple TV.

This app needs an update!!! Numerous times through the video, the video will keep playing but the sound will stop, when the sound comes back, its not for the right scene! Please update!!!

Overall this app is great for shows that dont have other newer seasons out anywhere else. How ever the crappy thing about is that there are to many ADS. IT GETS SO ANNOYING

Update is a total scam ! Made it harder to navigate through the app its self. (Instead of taking (((Commercials )))))off!!!!!!!!!! Do not Do not --download Do not Stay watching Netflix! Not gonna lie, I enjoy the shows that Hulu has, but honestly, Im starting to think Netflix is better. Yes, you pay less a month for it but the commercials, its so disappointing. Yall really need to fix this.

I get error messages constantly. Every time I pause a show and come back I have sign in because of an authorization error. Now when I click on a show it tells me my plan does not offer that show, I have the most expensive plan and I was able to watch other Showtime shows. all of a sudden it wont let me watch this new show. It is so frustrating for an app you pay a monthly subscription for not to work.

The app has a ton of issues when trying to cast shows. It hardly ever loads and if it does magically load and connect it takes forever. I know its the Hulu app and not my chrome cast because Netflix connects with ease.

Used to open Hulu up all the time to causally catch up on shows, watch movies and relax. Now I open it and instead find myself wondering if I feel like navigating a maze of terribly designed UI for 5-10 minutes before I can find what Im looking for. The answer is NO. So Ive stopped using it. Ill give it a bit longer, please make some NEEDED changes. Id rather cancel my subscription than deal with this mess.

For over 4 months, my Hulu app will NOT let me log in on my iPhone at all! It will not even let me open it. I tap the app and it automatically says "Something is wrong." With an option to try again that just repeatedly pops up. Ive tried deleting the app and then installing again. Same issue. FIX IT !!!!!

Apple needs to reconsider the "Editors choice" theyve awarded the hulu app. Theres more 1 star ratings then any other ratings. My poor experience with hulu is no different and Ill will cancel my subscription.

I am extremely upset. My watchlist is gone, and when I go to it on the side bar, it shows nothing in it. And when I search the TV show that I want to watch, it comes up with the page for it, but no episodes available. I am extremely frustrated right now because I am paying for something not to work.

I agree, I like the 2017 update with account switching, and ect. but PLEASE release another update that follows the gorgeous fluent interface of its android counterpart, Thanks!
