Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies App Reviews

Off the bat, if it is a free trial, why shall I have to put my credit card information or put the password for my account? I just dont understand. Besides my broke self complaining on how that part should be fixed, there are several times where it doesnt show my watch list. So I have to find the series/ movie I was watching and find the episode Im on. Furthermore, (also my last complaint) it seems to show that itll show the buffer sign and say "trying to connect" but the show/ movie is running smoothly and my wifi isnt out of range. It is still kind of stuck there. But other than that, Hulu isnt that bad. I want to watch Naruto Shippūden and Netflix doesnt have it, so I feel like Hulu has a better variety.

Hulu is a good service, but this app is complete trash.

I love Hulu and I have regular shows I like to watch on this app. Ever since they updated Ive had issue after issue and its been really frustrating. I never know when my shows have new episodes anymore, I have to select the show and select the episodes and scroll all the way down. Also, when I want to continue watching a certain show Ill click on it and itll start playing an episode Ive already watched. Its really annoying to have to go back and forth. Plus, the organization of "My Stuff" and "Keep Watching" and "Lineup" is just plain stupid. It takes forever to find my shows because theyre scattered all over the darn place. They should either fix this or just go back to the old version.

Stop making us sign in every time. Also, poor interface. And why does it say cant connect to internet when Im obviously connected to internet, having just logged in? This app deserves less than one star because it literally doesnt work at all. Considering cancelling subscription.

Terrible app for chromecast. Disconnects, option doesnt show up, laggy... you name it.

What are they so loud?

New user interface is NOT user-friendly. Browsing is awful, trying to go back or find something you previous viewed is a painful process. Visually, awesome appearance, I understand why they made the changes, it probably looked great on the sketch boards... but for me (the user) it is frustrating and terrible

New update broke installs on all of my iOS devices. Now at open I just get Something Is Wrong Try Again windows. Delete reboot reinstall and the same. Hulu support has no fix. Add this to the horrible new GUI on other devices like FireTV and you see that Hulu is proof crack doesnt smoke itself. Everything was working and now you see from the app ratings that Hulu has no clue what they are doing. The roll out of the new interface was so bad in Japan that they had to make a formal apology.

At least 50% of the time, this app just takes me to the beginning of the episode I was watching (or a PREVIOUS episode) rather than resume it in the proper spot.

What were you thinking? The user interface is terrible. I have to jump through many hoops to watch something I want. Youre suggestions (lineup) on things to watch are terrible and the worse thing is that they wont go away. Stop trying to decide whats good for me.

Just got this with a free month subscription. Im going to cancel and its been half a day lol. I should have read the reviews first. Does not work. Cant find anything. I keep going in circles and have yet to watch anything. Very frustrating.

The authentication has gotten awful. I put my iPad in airplane mode at night and if Ive accidentally left the app open, it immediately logs me out. It never did that before. If your wifi so much as blinks, youve got to remember your stupid password.

Current version keeps dropping AirPlay connection with my Apple TV everytime I go back to the Hulu app. Super annoying!!!!

Works well, needs better customer support when there are issues.

Its just 8. And something but I cancelled my subscription before my free trial was up on June 30 2017 and I was unsubscribed but yall took it out today the payment which I had to go online and unsubscribe not just from the hulu app...so I am charged and will be cancelled on 8/1/17 thats just WRONG!

This nee app is about enjoyable as a yearly physical performed by Edward Scissorhands. The online documentation doesnt match reality and it is a confusing mess. I have the Live tV with enhanced DVR subscription but cant find much less watch my shows on iPad. Im just about done Hulu. This is a fail so bad Id be cashing any stock options you may have. Which is too bad because this had potential to fill a void we desperately need.

Very likely will cancel my subscription after this new interface.
