Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies App Reviews

Im trying to watch a show while connected to my Chromecast on my IPhone 6s Plus but it wont allow me to add subtitles. This needs to be fixed!

Its great but the rest of the seasons are only in japanese

I go to my Hulu app my shows that were all my watch list got randomly removed.

Lacks simplicity and plainly doesnt work, disappointing

Hulu has amazing content. And is apparently run by a 12 year old web designer. Their phone app NEVER works. I try to watch shows on my iPhone or tablet and it freezes or starts over repeatedly. So I deleted the app and tried to redownload it. Now it just keeps saying it is unable to download, even though Im on wifi and nothing else has issues. I guess its back to Netflix for me.

Im done with you hulu. Last update erased my watchlist and progress on all shows. Had it for years. Im not going through the trouble to add everything again and try to figure out where I was. This is ridiculous. Bye

I have Netflix and Hulu. Netflix never crashes and rarely freezes. Hulu freezes CONSTANTLY! Sometimes I cant load shows or they will freeze then make me watch the last commercials again before resuming with the show. Sometimes I get network errors and nothing will work on Hulu, but if I switch to Netflix I dont have any internet issues. Definitely just a Hulu problem. If I could get any tv channels without cable, I would definitely cancel my hulu subscription. I might cancel it anyways, so frustrating...

Ok so I called customer service cause only one person can watch at a time on their device. This really needs to change I have a big family and they all use my Hulu. Until this gets fixed Hulu will be getting 1 star from me.

Here I am, awake at an untimely hour and I cant sleep. On top of that Im bored out of my mind need some form of entertainment. Alas! A lightbulb flickers ever so delicately. As I navigate my index finger to the search bar, I type in the words that I know can feed my insatiable appetite for true entertainment. The real deal. But what do I get instead? "No videos match your search. Please try your search again with a different search term." It was gone! The show I knew to make me laugh and cry, gone. I beg of you, with my feeble comment on your 2 star app, please bring back RuPaul.

I have been using this app on my iPad for a while now. All of the sudden it wont open. I just repeatedly get a message saying "something is wrong, try again". Works fine on my iPhone. But thats a pretty small screen to watch movies on. :-(

I know everyone hates when things we regularly use are changed, but this update on Apple TV is literally the worst redesign I have ever seen. Weve already canceled our service. It isnt functional. When Amazons abysmal streaming interface is better, you know youve got issues. I cant imagine what the management team at Hulu was thinking. UPDATE: Still nothing done to address concerns.

There are way too many commercials. At least with Netflix I dont have to pay extra to remove 50,000 seconds of commercials when I am trying to binge watch something.

How is it even possible for an app this bad to even be made, much less be made available for the public? The most basic function, being able to search for a show, theres not even an option. There were a zero stars option I would give it zero stars.

Hulu was doing just fine until this new update. Down to the simplest thing... I havent seen the 2 latest episodes of a show and Hulu plays the most current one, ten minutes in I realize they didnt play the previous one (that I missed). Finding new programs Navigating episodes Everything about the Hulu experience since the update is terrible User experience is awful awful AWFUL!!! How do I go back to the previous version? Ahhh

If I could give a zero star, I would. I am unable to stream most of the time without snags or pixelated video. I have no problem streaming from other apps like Netflix or Amazon. Hope you can fix the problem. Soon!

Constantly have to reconnect to my Chromecast. The app feels clunky. It would be nice if subtitles stayed on until I turn them off, like the Netflix app

I almost never review apps, but the new AppleTV Hulu app is, hands down, the worst interface I have used for the tvOS platform. Its beyond awful, it adds so much unnecessary aggravation to the experience that although Ive been a Hulu Plus subscriber for years, Im giving serious consideration to cancelling. Its just too irritating, I definitely dont watch Hulu nearly as much anymore as a result. I cant imagine how this horrible design ever made it out of focus groups and testing.
