This update has been disappointing if Im watching dub anime it would usually play all dub but now this update will play dub then sub then sub then sub.

The new layout is too confusing

The new interface is nice to look at, but completely impossible to use. Humans identify images so much faster than text. Bring back the posters, and show us more than one show at a time. Also, theres no way to know when my shows have new episodes... keeping up with tv shows is the only reason I have Hulu.

Would love to see the option of choosing your own definition. I have unlimited data plan dont see why my phone picks a lower resolution when it could just buffer a few seconds more and have a better resolution.

It will not let me use a iPod touch

I am highly annoyed with the new layout. It takes me about ten minutes to find the show I want to watch. The "Lineup" feature which is front and center is useless -- it has nothing I want to watch. The "Keep Watching" menu hides the episodes that I am looking for. The TV menu doesnt give me an option to easily see previous episodes so I can determine if I want to watch the current episode or not. Then there are a bunch of other superfluous menus that are taking up screen space that could have been left off. Why not design a menu that lets users have JUST the shows they want to see, in the order they want to see them and when you click on a show, you can choose which episode you want to watch. It would also be nice to be able to actually be able to watch an episode almost to the end off the show, and then resume it if you have to exit....but apparently Hulu thinks that if our got to just a couple minutes left then you must want to watch all the way from the start if you re select that episode and then, guess what? Now you have that show tagged as not watched ... and sometime during almost every show I try to watch now, closed captioning mysteriously turns on and I have to lookup how to turn that off. Can you just put this app back like it used to be? It wasnt perfect but it was light years ahead of this design. Did you pay designers for this? You should request a refund. Ive paid Hulu a lot in subscription fees over the years, but if this interface doesnt get improved soon I will cancel and find some other way to watch TV.

3 years still living but they need new updates

Its like the company hates its audience. I have been logged out twice in the last day, necessitating fully logging back in (what a pain since I never remember my passwords). The user interface is cumbersome, Its hard to find new episodes of shows, its hard to find something you watched, say yesterday but you watched something different today, didnt like it, and want to go back to it.... not a user friendly app at all.

For no apparent reason, Hulu simply stopped working on my phone. Each time I try to open it, I get a message that says Something Went Wrong and to try again. Deleting and reinstalling the app didnt help. Resetting my phone didnt help. There wasnt a recent update to my phone or Hulu. It just stopped working.

The shows are great but the interface is a pain to navigate. After watching an episode of a show, it suggests a different show which messes up the binge watching experience.

Hulu has a lot of great shows, but there are too many things that make Hulu not worth having. Lots of ads. Ads always freezing. Tv app always crashing. I wish I could skip intros and not see clips when Im trying to search for something. The site is just kind of a mess.

This is probably the least efficient app I own. The UI is is not user-friendly, it saps my battery worse than the flashlight, the app cant stay connected to any network (while my phone has no problem with connection), and Im currently unable to play episodes of any TV show for no discernible reason after restarting my TV, chrome cast, phone, AND reinstalling the app. Do yourself a favor; just stick with Netflix.

I like the app overall but the frequent resets back to the home screen while watching is making me want to cancel. I cant get through an inning of a yankee game with one to two resets. I got this specifically for the yes network but its becoming ridiculous.

Why wont app download now just keeps saying retry. Followed tips suggested to reset iPad. That didnt work .

The time slider for the app has ALWAYS, no matter the update, been excessively sensitive so as the merest accidental grazing upon any area remotely near it results in you being rewound or fast forwarded further into your show; combine this with unskippable commercials you have to pay extra on top of your subscription means for you to get back to where you were you are forced to watch 90 seconds of commercials to be able to have access back to the slider if it moves past a mandatory commercial break. Furthermore if where you were at was near one of the commercial break areas you then have to watch yet another 90 seconds of commercials. At least if I am watching television I can use my phone to pass the time but since you know, the app is on your phone, you cant kill time waiting through the mandatory "pay us a double subscription service to by pass these" commercial break. Id rather watch television normally or not at all. The only redeeming feature is that Hulu has some shows that I cant get else where without pirating...until they decide to take them off and then youre SOL.

My watchlist is gone and cant get episodes of any program to load, just clips

I have Netflix, Amazon prime, and Hulu. Hulu use to be my go to for tv shows, now I find my self going to other sources that are more convenient

What the **** did you do to Hulu? No watchlist now, deleted all my shows. Keep messing with it and making it worse.
