Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies App Reviews

My uncle and I have had Hulu for years, recently I took over his account due to some changes and Im planning on canceling my subscription. The new update is crap, on the Xbox I can no longer see a whole hoard of shows but only the top trending and shows I dont even watch on my watchlist. And the phone app doesnt even allow me to see how many episodes or seasons of anything available. It says it has the show but only trailers and clips no episodes. When I press play on something it freezes. Maybe changing things to how they were will draw me back in but for now, its the end of our relationship.

I am able to watch on my iPhone, my iPad, and my TV with no issues. My TV shows havent disappeared - nothing. Makes you wonder if the people having problems are having them because of actual program error or HUMAN ERROR and lack of knowledge.

I have the premium version without commercials, yet when in try to watch shows on my phone next to my wifi, it says it cant connect to the internet and wont play my shows. Works fine on my tv just not my phone. Come on Hulu, if Im paying your already ridiculous 12$ monthly fee to watch shows without commercials (only because they are not on Netflix) the least you can do is give me my moneys worth. Fix this bug immediately!

As much as I love Hulu it takes FOREVER to load... it really needs to be updated!?

watching an episode of a past season? when that episode is over, it will bring you allllll the way to the current seasons episode, forcing you to awkwardly scroll through all of the seasons to find where you left off. toooooo many tool bars up top- spend more time scrolling than watching the shows. will cancel subscription.

Has to many commercials regardless if you pay lower monthly fees. HULU program series are awesome but HULU movies are lacking in comparison to NETFLIX! You can fall asleep watching HULU and wake up with series or movie still playing. Dont have to acknowledge you are still watching every 2-3 hours like Netflix so that is a big plus for me.

It keeps telling me there not internet connection... which isnt true I checked and Netflix starts right up and plays no problem. Getting very annoyed. Either play or give me my money back...

Internet error all the time while im on wifi and all either apps work fine even on tmobile lte the same error.

Im watching on iPad Air 2. All was fine until the last update. Frequent freezing and poor quality video. Sometimes, all I can see are clips, no full episodes. I have no problems with any of my other streaming apps. Only Hulu. Hulu says its my ISP, but its not. Hulu has some major fixing to do. EDIT: This app just keeps getting worse. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Sometimes it just sits and spins. I do eventually get to watch a show, but I shouldnt have this much trouble if Im paying. I removed a star.

The app just doesnt work. It wont connect to the internet even though Im connected to WiFi and LTE and everything else works on both networks. I dont think Ive ever had a worse experience with a product/service that is paid. 0/5 would be more appropriate.

Keeps telling me there is no internet connection when there clearly is - all other apps work and I can browse etc.

Keeps having an error of "cannot connect to internet" no matter if Im going over wifi or my mobile signal.

Sometimes the app doesnt work and I have to repeatedly close it and open it again in order to get it to work...making me question if Hulu is actually worth it

This app suddenly quit working on all my devices. Tried a reinstall and found there was a new app "Hulu with live tv". I installed that one and everything works fine but the navigation is cluttered on that app. I think this is just a way to force people over to the new app so they can promote the live tv thing. I have no desire for that so I guess we will see if they let this version start working again or if I will just unsubscribe.

I have unlimited data so I should be able to use the app and I had just got done watching an episode on there so I dont get why when I open it now it says cant connec to the internet. It wasnt connected before.. It said if the problem persists to contact u so here we r..

Constant error messages. Need to shut down and reopen app frequently. Constant bug fixes needed that havent been resolved for months.

Chromecast functionality is completely broken. Constant "cannot connect to server" errors. Seriously garbage app.

For the last several months, it seems like every other time I try to log on and watch a show, the servers will show me the spinning loading sign and then die. Why am I spending money on this awful product when Netflix doesnt have any issue remotely close to this bad, let alone ads on top of that? This is a sincere question. Please help me understand why I am throwing my money away on your worthless service. I originally tried to send this message to the customer service contact button on the app, but when I hit submit it just said that an error occurred. No joke.

NOPE? "Cannot connect to internet" it says after 1) used the internet already to use other stuff no problem (including redownloading it) and 2) uninstalling and reinstalling it. Plus. You guys need a better way to contact the support team on a mobile device.
