Ive called Hulu several times for the same issue: (Samsung TV) Hulu app closes on its own during or after the commercials then restarts. Instructed to run speed test, which meets requirements, power down tv and modem after which the app will work but only temporarily. (iPhone 6s) The volume will cut out. (Apple TV) Same issue as everyone else. The new interface isnt friendly at all. Hulu remains the only streaming app Im having these issues with.

Hulu has single handedly designed the worst user interfaces of any streaming video service ever. Not intuitive and hard to browse content. We are about to break up -- its not me, its you.

Hulu has a new redesigned tv app, it is very good but the search now is very difficult and still bad support and they dix not add Babylon 5 like they promised 2 years ago. We remember.

As a long time subscriber of hulu I must say this last update is very disappointing and has essentially forced me to cancel my hulu+ subscription. I hate to see it go but it is just useless to me and a waste of my money. I do not want to have to search for shows every time I open the app, and based on the reviews on here I am not alone. The old version had all my shows right there when I opened the app and was clear when a new episode was available. Now it is frustrating to even find my shows, all I see is random crap that I have never even watched before. Go back to your last version or people will keep leaving your service. Goodbye hulu.

May you please add "spongebob squarepants" and "the office (U.S.)" and movies like "Planet 51" "Home" and "catch me if you can"

If Hulu really wants to compete with Netflix, the app needs to be a lot better. Hulus casting feature is terrible, im unable to keep and sometimes establish a connection without an error message. I pay for commercial-free service because i would like to be able to watch movies and television WITHOUT interruption. Also, a more improved search engine would be great, it is difficult to find things by actor or director. Not enough improvements to the website or app have been made since I began my subscription back in 2011.

The new TV app is unusable. You have destroyed something that was fine the way it was. I will be cancelling my subscription.

The only reason I got hulu was to watch rick and morty, and even now I dont think it is worth the trouble. 3 80 second ads per episode, terrible interface, and the list can go on. The ads are very annoying because you pay for a membership, and then dont even get premium features. I wish I could rate this 0 stars.

Crashes regularly..when it actually decides to not crash I have still have to deal with the sound not working randomly throughout a show, then after restarting the app it will crash a few minutes later. Basically paying for something I cant even use properly.

All other apps on my phone work just fine but Hulu says it cant connect to the internet (Im on wifi).

I do not like your new app design. It is not user friendly at all & is frustrating to search through. Please consider changing back to old version or similar. Thank you.

Using with Chromecast, app keeps crashing, stops in the middle of episodes. I never have this issue with Netflix or other streaming apps. Super annoying.

Every time I try to open the app it tells me "something went wrong" and wont let me log into my account. Tried reinstalling the app and still got the same problem

Somehow Hulu turned TV watching into a frustrating experience. Heres the list: - shows start in the middle, for some inexplicable reason - browsing through a list of episodes is backwards, you need to navigate through an entire series to find where you left off - when you watch a show, suddenly it doesnt play the next episode, but will leave you in an endless loop of infomercials - much better to use network apps that leverage Hulu API so you dont have to use that app - navigating around that app on a TV is incredibly clunky. Scrolling is opposite, all the menus should be reversed, "My Line-up" or suggestions has nothing to do with my viewing preferences. I have zero interest in the bachelor, bachelorette, or really any other show that Hulu keeps telling me to watch - constantly repeats episodes that Ive already seen on the app. Why cant you watch episodes in sequence? Hulu constantly replays old episodes out of order. Ok heres the algorithm: next episode = current episode number + 1 - As a consequence, Ive been looking and finding my shows on Netflix as an alternative. Ive been a Hulu subscriber for a month and might cancel, really only, because of the monstrosity that is this app. Cmon Hulu. Design is nice but usability is horrid. Test users, do what you gotta do cause the UX here falls massively short.

Ive had Hulu going on four years now, and it was awesome always having the shows you like available the day after it aired on cable. Something Netflix doesnt have. Well, Im not sure if Netflix is becoming a super power and buying up all the shows and networks, or if Hulu is declining in performance. Most shows that were on Hulu are only on Netflix now. No more good movies, all on Netflix. Even old shows are now only available on cable or Netflix. So I guess Netflix destroyed Hulu. This is my last month subscription. Netflix finally got me.
