Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies App Reviews

The newest version on AppleTV is beautiful and pretty and looks like they took design cues from the HBO Apple TV app (also crappy user experience). But this is definitely a case of form trumping function. Hulu should be worried about this update because it is so cumbersome to use, I find myself using the app less because its such a hassle.

the new apple tv app is so awful. you went too hard on the ui and forgot all about the ux. its impossible to see what shows i have new episodes for. when im trying to watch a full season of something i select the episode and then when its over i have to find the show again with your complicated navigation.

Why are there so many more ads on the mobile app?

I love this app and I love Hulu because of the things that you are able to stream. I love that you have the old shows like Adam 12 as well as the new shows like HGTV in the Food Network. I hope you will be able to add more old shows like Chips and Emergency! and Hogans Heroes. I have quit using Netflix because of everything they have taken off and the shows theyre adding in its place are not good family friendly entertainment I hope yall dont start doing that

It looks pretty but I cant find shows I want and "my list/my stuff" is a joke. I feel like we just went back several years.

Renewed 11.99 sub commercial free through apple. Charged my card 13.99. Still wont allow me to watch videos even though it clearly says I am subscribed through July 17th.

After a recent update I cannot watch movies through the app on my iPhone! I get an error now telling me certain things are web only and cannot be streamed to my iPhone. Are you kidding me?....may be time to cancel my long standing membership...

I only gave it a 2 because I can SOMETIMES watch shows from here. It wasnt giving me trouble when I 1st got it but lately its been really bad. I open the app and it takes forever to load. Then when it does I pick a show but nothing comes up. Its blank. Like it needs to load but it doesnt. I waited for like 5 mins for it to load and nothing happens. I even exit out of the app close it and reopen it and still nothing. And dont even get me started on chromcast. They just need to fix it. It doesnt have to do with wifi b/c every other app works fine.

The new update makes it very hard to watch the shows that you like or might like. It recommendations you what they want you to see. Also it doesnt show you the new episodes out from your shows on the home screen and makes you know guess if there will be a new episode or not. Horrible way to personalize your viewing experience.

New interface is awful.

Dont download app it will just piss u off they wont let u get 30 trail for free! There just conning u to sign up for upgrade! F??k u Hulu

I really hope an update is around the corner. For $14 Im not getting my moneys worth. You get 2 stars Hulu I know you can earn the other 3 dont let me down. Update: I take it back the new update is terrible. I barely use it now because its such a hassle.

The newest update is the most hard to use app experience Ive ever encountered. It looks cool, but functionality is terrible. Takes forever to find the show youre looking for. Must use the search function through Apple TV voice command or else it takes forever.

YOU NEED TO ADD MORE NARUTO ENGLISH DUB. And any anime in English. And needs some work.

Hard to see what shows are new and you havent watched. Shows reset to first episode after you watch the most current. Menu and design is terrible. My 1st grader could design a better looking app.

Hulu updated the Apple TV app and the new visual are nice but the way to get to your shows... I just watched once upon time ABC then I wanted the next episode. It cleared from the recent list then I found it under TV and it wouldnt refresh with the next episode. Hulu needs to take some queues from Netflix. I like the old Hulu app a lot more. It takes me double the time to get my show running now.

I hate the new look. Its confusing and harder to navigate. Will give it a try for a while longer. If it doesnt improve Im unsubscribing.

Add a fastforward button. You could one up Netflix if you add this button. Haha

Not stable or always crashing.

Wth?? This new view on the apple tv is awful. Hard to read and navigate. My kid shows are mixed with other shows. Im still struggling to understand how to navigate and im a 31 y.o techy.
