I am completely disappointed by this update. The way I use to keep up with television shows was by the "popular episodes" feature which seemingly disappeared. Navigating on an apple remote is difficult enough, why make a complex UI which makes it even more difficult? I agree with the comment about setting up DVR with my provider as an alternative to this difficult update. The original screen where I could view multiple options was better than this one. This update seemingly pushes Hulu Originals while making it impossible to turn off auto play feature which seems like a strategic action from a business perspective (profit-greedy), but a frustrating move from a (or, evidently, MANY) consumer perspective(s). Then, lack of C/S to respond to consumer complaints. "Were monitoring your feedback." Give me a break! Ive been with Hulu since it first came out, told all my friends about how great it was, received great C/S time and time again, then when it comes to this I am told to voice my opinion on a community board used by probably less than 2% of subscribers. Good grief. The one thing that I find useful from this update is the "multiple profiles" option, and even then, its not even useful to me. Now, since this update has been such a nightmare I have turned off the automatic app updates on my appletv, and plan to cancel my subscription soon.
