This app has two major usability issues. The first issue is that many times when you swipe left to go back the hamburger menu appears instead. Cant Hulu just fix this by ensuring that only swiping from the middle opens the hamburger menu? Also cant the video player be modified so that you have to drag the playhead to a specific location. This would reduce the frequency of inadvertent taps causing you to lose your place in an episode.

From what I saw in the reviews, people keep complaining about the ads/advertisements that keep popping up as theyre watching a tv show/movie. But its what you pay for that causes it. If you pay cheaper for $7.99 a month, then youre paying to watch with ads. But if you pay for a bit more for $11.99 a month, then youll be able to watch whatever you like without seeing any ads bother you as youre watching from Hulu. I pay for $11.99 a month and it works perfectly fine as I thought it would be. I would give it a 5 star but I got some loading problems from time to time.

Love hulu but they need to add more Spanish shows like EL VATO, THE RIVERIAS tv shows from NBC UNIVERSO

This app is really screwed up. I tried a couple different videos and none of them would play. I thought it might be my wifi so I turned that off and used my data and still had the problem so I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Same problem. I restarted my phone, and it didnt clear it up, I even did an Apple update on iOS and that didnt help either. They need to fix this app, its total crap!

And I dont normally use the expression "hella". The account settings dont work on the app. It only allows the user to change their settings to add the "no commercials" option for an additional $4. It doesnt allow the user to change their subscription in order to halt or suspend their account subscription. They make it purposely harder to unsubscribe. Right now, there isnt anything interesting on hulu to watch now so I will have to use my laptop to stop my subscription.

The quality of the shows is really good, but the set up of the series is stupid how it skips the first few and then all you can watch is season five or something like that. Also if the show you want to watch is in a different language and you dont understand that language sometimes only the first two or three episodes of that series are dubbed(in English) and then the rest are in that different language. And if you were to go on another app or a website that allows you to watch that series then you would be able to find the full series dubbed. But I still buy it and I still watch shows on this app because its a really good app just the set up for the series is kind of stupid.

Yeah, I know, people are complaining about the commercials. If you are impatient or dont want to spend money, dont download the freaking app. This app has been pretty darn reliable, and it doesnt deserve the low ratings everyones giving it. I pay 14 dollars a month for Hulu (with no commercials), and I will happily pay more. If you dont have the funds for this app, dont set unrealistic standards.

Got a new phone, downloaded Hulu and the app isnt working whatsoever. Nothing loads. No options can be clicked. Whats going on?!

Horrible app that has more commercials than actual show. Routinely crashes and takes way to long to load. Only has a few decent shows but only 4 or 5 episodes from late seasons. Possibly the worst app I have ever used.

all of their apps are god awful. multiple titles are unplayable on each separate application. community, for example, will play on my phone and my laptop, but it doesnt even show episodes on my tv apps. subtitles rarely function, which is great for me and the other hard of hearing members of my family, the laptop app resizes its window every single time i change menus or exit a show unless i use tablet mode, every episode takes two or three minutes to get past a black load screen with just the channel logo, and on top of all that the service has occasional glitches and lag. im putting this review in on all their devices as well cause its getting old, and im gonna have to switch back to netflix soon if nothing changes

Hulu you really need to make a more user friendly interface! Sorry but its terrible and its been like that from the beginning! THERE ARE SOOOOO MANY COMMERCIALS ON YOUR LOWEST TIER THAT FOLKS ARE FORCED TO SPEND DOUBLE JUST TO BE ABLE TO WATCH A SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all I really want to say that this is the most annoying app ever. Yes this app has a great selection but once you start watching there is an ad every FIVE SECONDS!!!! You literally cant watch without pausing every five minutes. Overall hulu has a very impressive selection but its very annoying when your watching and is suddenly pauses for A COMMERCIAL BRAKE!!!

The best app Just the best app

7 banks of 3 ads per 1 hour show… seems a bit much... 5 months later, now it is banks of 4 ads per break... I would suggest pay for a month, then skip a month or two until you feel it is worth re-signing up

I honestly dont even understand why I bother even using this service when there are so many ads that interrupt the shows as if this streamer is free???? Hulu is about to lose many many subscribers due to this. Most free services use ads to pay for the the needs of the product but this is not free so whats happening here?

Dont bother reporting a problem because apparently they dont read or only partially read your email. My Watchlist disappeared when I did the last update and, when I reported it, I got responses that did not address the problem. One response said they were sorry about my PLAYBACK problem! Ridiculous!!

The only thing worth watching is criterion collection films and now theyre all gone. Is this a glitch? Did you think we wouldnt notice? Ill be requesting a refund.
