Hulu: Watch TV shows & movies App Reviews

Ive given them chance after chance to update their smart tv app and fix this treachery of a service. But they havent. Closes out constantly. Doesnt work half the time. Never connects to internet when all my other apps *cough* *NETFLIX* has no problems. Cancelling this service as soon as I hit send on this review.

I have many apps where I use the cast feature to my Vizio TV, but this is the only app that constantly has to buffer / load. Hulu works fine in my internet browser on my HTPC...the only constant is this app. Ill probably just cancel Hulu and stick with Netflix...which works with my setup.

I use Hulu on a daily basis to watch shows. I cant stand the fact that they use the SAME ads/commercials every dang time! It really gets old after a while and makes me not want to watch it anymore.

I have no issues with the app. It will run smoothly, and it acts just like it dose on the computer. I would recommend this to any Hulu user.

I loved Hulu until recently. They are having so many issues with the app on phone and tablet. Last week it isnt working on phones or tablets all day. Then today its not loading anything. Says its on another device and to close them on other devices but I have no other device running Hulu. Even closed all my saved devices on my computer. So beyond frustrated with Hulu right now. Netflix never has problems. They need to fix there sh*t. If it doesnt get better Im canceling my service.

Hulu has not given me any option to change size and font of the captioning! On my 40 inch Sharp the captions are huge and covers the screen. On my 21 inch insignia, it is yellow and very small to read! Can you please add a feature to change the captioning??

So Im giving them 2 stars (as opposed to 1) because commercial free Hulu is WHERE. ITS. AT. So many good series and no ads to interrupt? YES PLEASE. Now for the problem: Half of the time the app just does not work! Takes forever to load. Crashes. And this is an issue across all platforms: iPhone, iPad, Samsung TV...you name it. Hulu why are you doing this to us? This has been a issue for a WHILE. Do you not care? Fix this.

It has a great selection of shows and movies but it crashes so frequently you can barely watch them.

okay so hulu is pretty cool but could yall make it so we can watch shows from like the beginning and add castle

This application is bad in many ways . The app crashes constantly and takes an absurd amount of time just to load the actual show, after countless efforts and several minutes , your show may play and thats after four ads. Netflix is 10x better .

I used to love this app - worked seamlessly with my Chromecast from my iPhone. BUT since the last update (WEEKS ago), it is always glitching and disconnecting. I never had his happen with other apps, so it isnt my hardware, internet, or phone. Its making very difficult to watch anything. I subscribed for the casting option! If this isnt fixed soon, Im planning to cancel my account.

I dont understand why I pay for something that I cant even use. Every time I chromecast Hulu, two minutes into the show and a screen pops up which say "sorry, an error..." and I dont understand why its so hard for the Hulu app to make it work

I have had this app for some time now and when i log into my account its asked me if I wanted to upgrade my account. After I updated the app. Now I cant log in because it keeps saying "cant connect to iTunes" This has been the 3rd week I have been trying. I did look online for a solution but one was available. #deletedapp

All my shows are back in my watchlist!! Thank you for fixing!! No other complaints, this app is amazing ✨✨✨

The app is constantly loading! Every 6 seconds my show pauses to load. Its awful and horribly annoying!

I like this app because of its tv shows and movies I also like it how it lets you choose different genres!

Every time I try to sign up it says " iTunes cannot process gift cards at this time". I dont know how you expect me to pay you if i cant even sign up.

Shoutout to Hulu for making the ads stream perfectly but keeping the shows Im actually paying to watch laggy if they play at all. I love seeing playback failures and random interruptions, so glad Im giving you my money so I can not watch anything
