Hulu: Watch TV shows & movies App Reviews

I cant even tell you how it was cause I cant even make an account. Says "unknown error" when I put in my email. I tried all my emails.

App crashes regularly, restarts my show while Im in the middle of it, cant get through the ad without stopping and buffering, etc. For a company who relies on streaming content youd think this would be a priority to fix.

On my Apple TV the app wont open. Ive uninstalled it and reinstalled. Does the same thing

Not a fan. If yore using Hulu on a smart TV it isnt bad. If on a mobile device, its essentially nonfuntional. Most pages fail to load or tell me I dont have permissions This would be fine, but I have contacted hulu a few times about this service and have been ignored They provide basic cable television Ive had to to provide this review five times because they dont except my username. Aka they dont like my rating. Not good business

When I first starting using the app I had no issues, what I wanted to watch was streaming perfectly fine, overall great. Recently the app has crashed various times, it keeps showing "something went wrong" I press ok and yet it still reappears. I turned off my phone, checked the wifi, checked other sources and yet it wont allow me to watch anything. I deleted the app, downloaded again and nothing has changed. Sadly this isnt the first time and Im pretty sure itll continue to mess up. Thinking about deleting Hulu account completely.

If you pay $8 a month, youd think you could watch what you pay for. Not true. This app is constantly breaking down for no reason. It is quite possibly the most worthless app Ive downloaded. I will be cancelling my subscription to Hulu as I see no point in paying for a service that never works. Get your crap together Hulu.

Awesome

Ive been trying to use this app on my iPhone to cast on my chromecast and it keeps on crashing... all my other apps such as Netflix, HBO etc work perfectly however the dummies at Hulu cant seem to solve this issue. I wonder how long itll take them to solve this issue...

This app used to work great. I havent been able to use it for the past 2 weeks. It says "unable to connect to internet". Im going to cancel my subscription because I only wanted Hulu to watch my shows while on the go.

When I watch it on my wii after one episode it wont play the next and gives me an error message. Also it doesnt show my same watchlist on all the devices I use. It doesnt update on all my devices what Ive watched. Please fix this!

I wish I could have the option to give negative stars. Ive checked my connection many times, the internet is working great. The main idea behind this app is to be able to watch the videos and shows offered but it cant even simply do that. The movies/shows wont play on any of my devices. I heard good things about Hulu and was willing to sign up but having experienced it, Im canceling.

App works great the majority of the time, regardless of what device Im using. Oddly enough the most annoying part is the ads. Not that you have to watch them, but that theyll show you the same one literally 9 times in a one hour show. Sometimes twice in a row. Gets old pretty quickly :-/

Horrible app for iPad, wont work.

There are a couple of shows I loved watching on Hulu, but there are already new seasons or episodes and Hulu has not put them on. They are SLACKING!

Sometimes I watch shows like Greys live and I want to be able to check it off my watch list, but you cant. I even have episodes that I did watch on hulu but accidentally started to replay them and theyre back on the watch list queue....its annoying. Can there be a button to mark "already watched" please??

Im trying to watch a show and the video is playing but this idiot app keeps putting an error right over the video. Cant connect to the internet. Retrying. Cant connect to the internet. Retrying. Cant connect to the internet. Retrying. Cant connect to the internet. Retrying. The Apple TV app is a nightmare too.

What happened???

This is our first month using Hulu and underwhelmed so far. Freezes at some of the ads and cant watch the rest of the show until we come back later. Annoying. Not sure we will keep on with our subscription unless this improves. Fast. Revising to one star. Emailed Hulu and the only response was, have you checked your internet connection......well, yes! The issue is the way their app works on Apple TV, or doesnt work I should say, we can use Hulu fine on the fire tv stick, most of the time, but freezes non stop now when we try to access on the Apple TV or iPad. And worse, the lack of response.

It used to work always on my Sony TV app. Now it always says "critical server error" every time I try to open Hulu. I have to close the app and try again. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. I have deleted and redownloaded it. I make sure its up to date. I have been with Hulu since it started and Im debating on switching back to DirectTV. Please find a way to stop the critical errors on Sony TV because I love Hulu.
