Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies App Reviews

Just downloaded Hulus app so I could try it out for a week....and was changed $1.00 for the basic plan! So, off this app goes and yes, I will be contacting my bank to remove the charge. I have no problems with paying for something, but I do when it is advertised as a "free trial." ? For those considering getting this: Buyer beware.

Not nearly as many choices as Netflix. Also cant pause.

For as huge as Hulu is with their streaming and original programming, it is absolutely the most atrocious app that has been created specifically for streaming. How do you create a streaming app that DOESNT stream? It crashes, drops whatever show or movie youre watching, gives error messages left and right. Its unacceptable for those who pay for the app to be experiencing issues literally every time you open it with nothing to show for it. Im giving it one more update for them to figure out this garbage and will be cancelling my subscription if it is not figured out. This applies to the Apple TV and iPhone versions of this application.

I deleted Hulu for like 3 days because it kept saying restore fail every time I tried to long back in and its still doing it

I used to love Hulu! But now it freezes up all the time. It has really great shows and I would love to watch them but I cant cause its always kicking me off saying the video is unable to play. Please fix this Hulu!

Ive been a long time subscriber to Hulu. I like the service, but the app has been really buggy lately. Its impossible to watch a show without the app crashing multiple times during the show. Please fix!

I love Hulu ! Quality is great, doesnt buffer, the shows and movies that are on here arent boring. But I was disappointed that the CW network is not here. They have really popular shows which I was surprised they werent on Hulu. This is all Hulu needs for me in order to be complete. CW network is where my shows are at bring it to Hulu please !

You give us the options to have multiple accounts but it wont let more than 1 person watch at a time also its constantly crashing and its becoming extremely annoying

Does anybody know if something is wrong with HULU because my shows pop up but no seasons or episodes are there anymore. ? whats going on??

Since my household doesnt have cable anymore, we thought Hulu would be the answer to watch current episodes of our favorite shows. While we are able to do that, the app needs to be rebooted, sometimes several times during an episode (watching on Apple TV). It either freezes or give the network error. It is quite annoying, especially when involved in a particularly suspenseful episode. For the amount paid for a subscription, you would think they could fix these bugs.

The new update is causing domain errors. It wont play or display episodes. Deleted and reinstalled the app, but the problem still continues. Please fix.

App works fine and does what it needs to without any problems in my time with it. But I feel its urgently missing split view support. Dragging the video around the the device is fine, but annoying at times. Split view is needed

It has all my favorite shows, but they play commercials WAAAY to often. I understand maybe a set of commercials for tv shows in the middle, then one set at the end. But a 25 minute show has 4 sets of commercials which have 4 commercials for each set, which starts to get very annoying to the point where you switch back to Netflix and watch something else.

Why is there not a next episode button? I mean I dont know how to make an app or anything like this but it doesnt seem like itd be that hard.. if the browser version has it why not the app?

Hulu has fabulous content, but the iPhone app is seriously lacking. Luckily Im the only one using it, so profiles arent an issue, but I cant swap to another app and come back. I get an error every single time. I have to close the app and reopen it. Its inefficient, and a waste of my time. Additionally, every few days I need to delete the app and reinstall it because it wont play videos. Luckily it remembers my details, but that also concerns me regarding the security of my information.

This us to be one of my favorite apps to watch new episodes of my favorite shows but it the past few weeks its been awful. Most shows wont load at all and when they do they stop and start every 5 mins. Ive contacted Hulu and they say its my internet but its not because Hulu doesnt work anywear. PLEASE FIX the bugs or give me my money back
