Hulu: Stream TV shows & movies App Reviews

I love Hulu, the ability to watch shows the day after the air is great and what I liked most about the app was how easy it was to navigate..that is before they updated. Its is so much more complicated than it has to be and whats worse is there is no main page that showcases all trending and new shows. You now have to scroll through a bunch of huge photos instead of a screen that shows everything. Its honestly made me go to other apps such as Netflix, showtime and HBO only because its become more complicated to see whats new, I have no time for that. PLEASE CHANGE IT!!!!!

I do not know why but this thing has more problems than anything. It will not load. It wont even go to the home screen. I have a black screen. It wont work on my iPad nor my Kindle. FIX THIS APP!! Im NOT paying to see a black screen!! FIX IT!!!!!

This app does not work with chromecast at all. It is almost non functional. I can barely watch Hulu. There are so many issues, frequent disconnecting, chromecast icon disappearing, load time sometimes takes five minutes, frequent errors. To top it all off, if I need to rewind of pause my episode it freaks the app out and it will error, causing me to restart the episode. I dread using this app.

Im seeing an error message every time I try to watch on my iPad.

Incredibly unintuitive, extremely hard to use, all I do is scroll scroll scroll, still cant find what I want, everything is huge, cant see variety of things at once, such a waste of time, cant find anything easily, this is a nightmare!!! Perhaps I should thank you, because due to this new nightmarish update, I get so frustrated so quickly that I just simply turn it off. I now only watch about 1% of what I used to. I know Im not alone, in speaking with all my other friends they feel the same. They would rather watch nothing than try to figure out this torturous app. Im sure thats not hurting you in ad revenue at all.

Freezes alllll the time so then youve got to rewatch 4 commercials ? happened 6 times on jersey shore- Free vinny episode!

I loved Hulu on Apple TV. The new update has made it the worst app experience that I have ever encountered. Features that were lost include the helpful notification for new episodes, the list of shows that I watch, being able to see multiple episodes on the screen at once to look, and navigating without scrolling for ever. Today, it reset all my shows so that it thinks I havent seen any episodes! If an update is not pushed soon, I will be canceling my subscription.

The up date is terrible. Pretty much the only way you can find the shows you want is by searching for them. If you are in the fence between getting Hulu or ANY OTHER STREAMING SERVICE go with the other streaming service because besides new content hulus platform is so terrible that I am canceling my subscription if they havent changed it by the end of the summer. And the bugs. Oh god the bugs. Of corse what is a huge pile of with no bugs flying around it.

Hey Hulu, Usually your app for phone and TV works just great...except when a Metro POS commercial plays. Then everything stops working and the app crashes. Please fix it.

Most recent update broke the app it was working fine before this update and no episodes are showing just clips

Every show I try to watch will only give me clips of the show, and wont let me play it. Please fix this problem

Every time I try to open the app I get this message :"Something is wrong." What the heck?!????

I like taht therere so many selection of movie, shows, anime and cartoon but what annoys me is that i paid 8 bucks for the thing and theres tons of advertisements! I am ok with 1 or 2 but 4?! Everytime? Like effin seriously? It is not worth it at all!

Something always "goes wrong" and I have to log in. It getting pretty annoying.

The latest app UX is not user-friendly. Its much more difficult to find shows. Really missing the old app.

The code is not very well written. Whoever tests these recent releases... you need to do a better job! I love the shows that are on the platform but I have to disconnect from chromecast, connect again, press pause, close again... until it works. Maintain your code!

Really, Ive never written a review on the appstore, (and while its true what people say, that youre far more likely to write a review after a negative experience rather than a positive one), but this interface is really dreadful. It looks beautiful, but (especially on apple TV) its a horrible UX, takes a lot of intricate scrolling, and is hard to see show descriptions from 10 feet away on the couch. Im not even that old. Sad times. Cmon Hulu. Youre great. Sought yourself out.

I look for my shows but there not there and my friend said they were so this app is stupid dont get it if you have it delete it unless it has your shows

What the hell are they thinking? Did you think about user ease? This is 10 steps backwards. Please develop something completely different.
