Random rewinds

Edited: Now add that while watching a series, it wont automatically go to the next episode, it goes to the "recommended" episode of another show. This happens on my iPhone, iPad, kindle, and smart TV so Im not sure what the problem is. Where in the app can I adjust auto play?

I am so thankful there arent a lot of shows I can only watch on the Hulu app. If my connection buffers at all (and it buffers a lot--using wifi or cell--and my other streaming apps dont so its not my service), it will rewind to some arbitrary spot, which considering I have to watch 4 commercials because it rewound and then I have to watch 4 more commercials to reset it to the spot I was at, is ridiculous. I accept that I have to watch commercials but this double viewing is not only frustrating, it makes me want to never buy whatever product Im shown just out of spite. Im seriously tempted to canceling my account. Viewing shouldnt be this frustrating.
