New App Almost Unusable

My visually impaired mother cant use the new interface at all. Font is too thin, the background offers little contrast, and it is all very busy. I see well and have a difficult time. The Apple TV app is horrible. If things dont improve soon, I will stop spending my $21 a month for the first time after several years.
