Its a mess! Finding content takes just as long as it did before but recommendations are incorrect and there are way too many side-scrolling categories and there is no longer the ability to disable autoplay so Hulu will start playing crap you care nothing about and have to back up. I end pressing the menu/back button more times during use of this app than several other "TV" apps combined. Sure it looks pretty but its very aggravating to navigate.
As for the side-scrolling menu, you should only have five categories: Lineup, Keep Watching, TV, Movies, Kids... everything else you have is a sub-category and should be tucked into one of the aforementioned five categories.
Further, the app also does not ask who is watching upon opening and therefore all family members are required to navigate to the menu option thats farthest away to open their profile. Either move the profile option to the front or ask who is watching EVERY time the app is opened. Because of this flaw, my keep watching feed is loaded with reality shows (which I despise) because my spouse is not very tech savvy (annoyed by having to learn a new interface) and she mostly watches trashy reality shows.
Unfortunately, I cant change her viewing interests but it would be nice if you made some fairly basic UI changes to better accommodate households with vastly interests.
Please make some changes to simplify navigation and bring back settings within the app so auto play can be disabled.
