Wrong direction

This is about the Apple TV version as its the only one I use:

Hulus previous layout was functional if not very pretty. There were some bugs like the last 7 or so seconds of a show/movie playing over before it went back to the menu but this redesign is all glitz and VERY poor functionality couplied with seeminly non-sensical heading and no control over whats listed.

Hulu has put a severe emphasis on the programs they want you to watch: their own content or stuff ther are probably being paid to offer to you. Dont want "Brooklyn 99" in your "Up next" playlist? Too bad, you cant remove it.
Want to watch just one show? Too bad, you cant turn off the "play next" setting any more an youll start watching whatever Hulu decided was worthwhile. Want to quickly see what shows have new eposodes to watch? Too bad, the red unwatched badge is gone and youll have to guess whats new.

This is a joke. A bad one. I think its time to give Netflix a chance and let this Hulu subscription expire for a while.
