Too many commercials for paid content

So I decided to start watching some series on Hulu instead of just Netflix & instantly regretted it. Both are paid subscriptions, so why does Hulu show so many dang gone commercials per episode?! Or why commercials period? And most annoyingly, if you fast forward to where you left off, it immediately shows 4 commercials & if where you left off was right before a commercial break, guess what? 4 more COMMERCIALS! (For crap I dont even care about). What does the subscription pay for, if there are 12 ads per episode? ( & im just trying to watch old Twilight Zones!!)
Cant compete w/Netflix, thats for sure.
